Window Cleaning

You’ll literally see the difference with our window cleaning services.  The secret is a razor blade!  We clean windows the old fashioned way, we a squeegee and bucket, using a wet razor blade to handle stuck on grime without damaging your windows.  No power washers and no harsh chemicals.

Gutter Cleaning

Cleaning the eavestrough of your home is a tedious, often neglected task.  If you let debris build up for long enough, it could create a blockage, resulting in water entering your home during the freeze/thaw cycles in the winter months.  We always use ladder stand offs to prevent damage to your gutters and house.

Siding Cleaning

We don’t use power washers to clean the exterior of your home.  The high pressure spray can damage your home during the cleaning process.  Over the years, we’ve determined the best way to clean siding is with water, soap, a soft-bristled brush and plenty of elbow grease.  We can also clean stucco using a similar process.

What People are Saying

“Quality service at a very reasonable price. They show up when they say they will and do a great job. I’m not a fan of heights so I more than appreciate what they do for me. I have 5 tall maples in my backyard and spend considerable time “playing with my roof and eavestroughs”, the Performance team more than takes care of what I cannot. Thank you guys, I really appreciate everything. Talk again in June”

John Prostran

“The two gentlemen who cleaned my windows did a fantastic job! I have a lot of windows in some hard to reach places. They were also very helpful in answering some questions I had about the spider spray. Overall I am delighted with the outcome and their service. I highly recommend this company.”

More About Window Cleaning in Niagara

Are you neglecting your home’s windows?

As a homeowner, it takes a lot of effort to keep your property in tip-top shape; you are not only responsible for keeping the interior neat and tidy, but the exterior as well, and altogether that is a hefty list of chores to tackle. One job that oftentimes gets neglected, as it may not always seem as important as some others, is window cleaning.

Don’t feel bad about it though, most homeowners are guilty of not washing their windows as much as they should, and there is no better time than now to learn about how window cleaning is an essential step in property maintenance, and what exactly happens when your window panes go without proper washing.

How often should I clean my windows?

To answer one of the first, most obvious questions you may have, “how often should I have my windows cleaned?” – at least twice a year, ideally up to four times. The reason for this being that you should wash your windows in-between seasons changing, the most common time for people to have their windows washed in Niagara is during the transition between spring and summer, and again between autumn and winter; but ultimately it would be best to clean your windows in between each season to maximize their integrity and keep them looking sparkling clean.

As time passes and the weather changes you will face different kinds of build-ups, for example: during the springtime you may notice that your windows seem to accumulate more water stains, this is because some areas have more minerals in the water (such as calcium and magnesium), which causes hard water to occur, and as water evaporates from the surface of your windows, it leaves behind a visible stain. These markings can be particularly tricky to remove, as can the stains left behind from road salt in the fall and winter; as cars pass over the large granules, the dust gets kicked up into the air and has to settle somewhere – unfortunately, your windows make a great spot for it to settle in.

Hard water and road salt are not all your windows can accumulate though, since the exterior of your home is exposed to all sorts of elements, you may experience the growth of mold, bacteria, mildew, algae and fungi, and if left untreated all of these substances can contribute to the breakdown of your window panes and sills overtime. Glass and wood are porous materials that will absorb the elements they come in contact with, which is why left behind dirt and grime will inevitably wear away at their integrity; a sign of this happening is your windows becoming noticeably draftier as they breakdown.

Having your windows washed can not only prevent this deterioration from happening but keeping your home draft-free can also save you money on your heating and air conditioning bills!

It’s been proven – clean windows make you happier!

Window washing also brings your home a sense of newness, you don’t really notice just how dull your view of the world is getting until you are looking through a set of sparkling clean window panes, and can see how drastically brighter and vivid your view becomes. This change in your every day scenery can make you feel like you are standing in the home you fell in love with for the first time all over again!
